TESTIMONIALS

"I want to assure the community here that I’ve been monitoring this new water source. The water quality is good. I took samples. We have many organizations drilling without permits and operating illegally. Tukutana has followed the proper procedures and their wells are legally registered in the national water database in Entebbe. Tukutana has obeyed the authorities. They have been cooperative and have formed a very representative water committee to ensure the well is maintained for years to come.”

—Nalubega Samuel, District Water Commissioner | Luhonge, Uganda

“Never before, since the beginning of the earth, has there been water for us to drink from at this spot. Never before have our people had a well in their village. Praise be to God for bringing us this clean water.”

—Okello Geoffrey | Iki Iki, Uganda

“My name is Ntuyenabo Athanase, I am from the territory of Masisi (Democratic Republic of Congo). I have been in this Bulengo camp for almost two years. When the rebels attacked our territory my wife was far from me, because she had gone to visit her mother who was ill. Suddenly I took my children and some clothes, then I found myself here in Goma and it was my first time arriving in town. Despite everything I submitted to the conditions of the camp despite all the difficulties that I go through without my wife. My struggles continue but I found some reprieve when Tukutana provided us with water. They also made for us a church where we worship God and cry out to Him for help. I ask God to keep my wife safe and bring us together again.”  —Ntuyenabo Athanase | Goma, DRC; Bulengo Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp
