Special Projects

Orphan Care Equip Project (OCEP)

Tukutana’s Orphan Care Equip Project (OCEP) trains and equips individuals and church-based organizations committed to meeting holistic needs of East Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable children.

Farming God’s Way

Farming God’s Way makes a difference in communities through well-balanced Biblical, management and technological solutions. The principles and trainings equip people suffering from food scarcity to come out of poverty with what God has put in their hands and revealing the fullness of Jesus’ promised abundant life. Tukutana has implemented Farming God’s Way with 60 widows, resulting in self-sustaining bean crops that are feeding the widows and the dozens of orphans in their care.

Kipaji Project

KIPAJI: ability, talent,  gift, present

Tukutana's Kipaji Project helps East African women develop marketable skills and cultivate talents through our Sowing Change program.

Seamstresses, practice by making drawstring bags out of colorful African fabrics called Kitenge. The are bags are filled with school supplies, soaps, toothbrushes, etc. (gifts/presents) and donated to ministries, orphan homes, community-based projects, hospitals, villages and schools across Uganda.

Tukutana staff and volunteers provide Kabaji Project beneficiaries with hygiene and other trainings pertinent to the gifts they receive.
