Well Water Art

Where H20 & Creativity Overflow!

Well Water Art is made with water flowing from Tukutana-constructed WATER projects in Uganda, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Well Water Art provides Tukutana beneficiaries with tangible ways to express gratitude for safe, accessible drinking water, and bring a splash of that water from their village to yours.

WATER COLOR

Dipping their paint brushes in WATER from a well Tukutana constructed in their village, those benefitting from the safe water source make Well Water Art. Our artists, young and old, create beautiful designs to decorate their homes, schools, churches, and share with others.

When you touch Well Water Art, you’re touching water from a well or rain-catchment system, provided by Tukutana’s generous partners who are committed to providing communities with life-saving H20.

TIE-DYE

Tie-Dye is one of the most popular Well Water Art classes Tukutana offers. Recently, we brought tie-dye kits to Bwere, Uganda, so the women with Tukutana's Widow’s Ministry could design their own t-shirts. The ladies had never seen such a thing. They laughed and danced as we used water (from a well Tukutana constructed in their community) to turn their white shirts into vibrant colors, a phenomenon that captured the widows' wonder.
